IBNA Spoon River Real Estate History
The Stony Point, NY, doors of Spoon River Real Estate first opened for business in 1977 under the ownership of Patsy and Fred Duncan, as independent broker/owners. Since that time it has continued to be a member of the MLS, now known as the Greater Hudson Valley Multiple Listing Service, and the Rockland County Board of Realtors. Spoon River Real Estate from 1988 through 1998 was a franchise location for one of the national franchises. From 1998 until the present, it has again been an independently held Real Estate® agency servicing all of Rockland County.
It was in 1998 that Fred founded and began devoting his time to IBNA, Independent Brokers Network of America. To learn more about IBNA, you can click on IBNA Corporation. Spoon River Real Estate is a charter member of this organization. Hence, it is now known by the name, IBNA Spoon River Real Estate, as it continues to serve its clients and customers from its original location. In 2000 Patsy formed Patsy Duncan and Team 2000 as a way to provide full service to the Real Estate® customers and clients of IBNA Spoon River Real Estate, while developing and training upcoming Real Estate® professionals.
Team 2000 and our other Agents
Patsy Duncan and Team 2000 was formed as a commitment to our Real Estate® customers and clients to provide the best, on time, personal service. We place our top agents on this team and have weekly team meetings to keep each other aware of our clients and their needs. Hence, someone should always be available to work with you, even if your personal agent is currently unavailable. The team has a Client/Customer Coordinator who is a full time staff person managing the telephones and computers, while serving the Real Estate® needs for the office. Additionally, we have several other agents, who are part time Real Estate® professionals. All of the agents working for IBNA Spoon River Real Estate® are high caliber professionals with diversed backgrounds. They are all committed to the Business of Real Estate®.
Office and Staff
Our office is fully equipped with integrated networks of computer and communication systems. We have instant access to all of the Multiple Listing Services, the Public Record Searches, and all tools and services needed by our agents to better serve you.
We also have the full time Client/Customer Coordinator to accommodate all of your Real Estate® needs. This person helps coordinate meetings, set schedules, & answer your calls when your agent is not available. This person is your personal link to all aspects of the buying and selling processes. |
